Job Overview

We seek a passionate, meticulous Barista to become an integral part of our team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. This role involves crafting superior specialty coffee beverages and providing excellent guest service within a collaborative atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffees and beverages with precision, showcasing advanced skill with espresso machines and brewing techniques.
• Provide welcoming, professional service, anticipating and surpassing guests’ expectations.
• Offer informed guidance on menu selections, ingredients, and preparation methods in a friendly manner.
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately using POS systems, maintaining financial records.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workstation and café environment, following strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Carry out opening and closing tasks including equipment setup, inventory verification, and facility readiness.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain smooth café operations during peak and quiet periods.
• Create attractive displays and engage customers to drive interest and sales.
• Adapt to changing priorities and take on additional duties to support operational requirements.
• Uphold our brand values and dedicate efforts towards outstanding customer satisfaction in all interactions.

Essential Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in food & beverage or retail sectors within the last two years.
• Demonstrated barista expertise in preparing specialty coffee beverages.
• Proficiency in operating espresso machines, grinders, and related café equipment.
• Strong skills in cash handling and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities focused on delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with high attention to detail.
• Physical endurance to stand for extended durations and perform repetitive tasks.
• Knowledgeable about food safety and sanitation standards.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in beverage service such as Pro Serve or equivalent.
• Formal training or certification in specialty coffee and barista skills.
• Experience within luxury hospitality or high-end café settings.
• Multilingual capabilities, especially proficiency in Arabic.
• Experience managing inventory and stock rotation procedures.
• Skills in latte art and advanced coffee presentation.
• Exposure to multicultural team environments.
