Role Overview

At COBS Bread, we foster a supportive work environment encouraging growth, teamwork, and community involvement. As a Baker, you will play a central role in ensuring the freshness and quality of our artisan breads and treats. Bakers begin with an empty bakery and finish the day filled with products for customers to enjoy. We seek enthusiastic team members who are eager to learn and contribute.

Daily Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a small team to bake products each morning, strictly following specific recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bakery and support an excellent customer experience.
• Manage production schedules, measure and mix ingredients, shape dough, and operate ovens efficiently.

• Motivated early riser comfortable working independently or within a team.

• Possess a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
• Dedicated to personal development and contributing to team and bakery success.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking throughout all tasks regularly.
• Frequently lifting and carrying items up to 22 kilograms.
• Engaging in continuous reaching, turning, occasional pushing, pulling, and bending.
• Capable of lifting at least 2.5 kilograms up to 1.7 meters height.
• Regular use of both hands with wrist rotation and flexing; occasional firm gripping required.

Compensation and Work Hours

$20 per hour for full-time positions, with part-time opportunities also available. Overnight shifts begin at approximately 11 PM and may end as late as 9:30 AM.
