Backend Engineer - Model Training Infrastructure

Overview

Join the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team that pioneers the next-generation artificial intelligence infrastructure and recommendation systems powering feeds, ads ranking, search ranking, live broadcasts, and e-commerce within our organization. This role significantly influences our core business operations globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a large-scale machine learning platform that supports feeds, advertisements, and search ranking models at a global scale.
• Enhance the usability and adaptability of machine learning infrastructure to meet evolving needs.
• Optimize workflows encompassing model training, serving, data pipelines, storage solutions, and resource allocation for multi-tenant machine learning environments.
• Lead the architecture and development of vital components within the ML infrastructure and provide mentorship to interns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in building and deploying expansive systems.
• Strong proficiency in programming with C, C++, CUDA, and Python.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience improving foundational machine learning infrastructure components like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.

Preferred Experience

• Contributions to open-source machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch are highly advantageous.
