Role Overview
This position is for a senior QA automation professional with deep experience in UI and API test automation. The role calls for practical exposure to modern automation platforms, strong coding ability, and familiarity with databases and CI/CD environments. You will work closely with different teams to create scalable automation solutions and help deliver reliable software releases.
Responsibilities
- Build, improve, and support automation frameworks for both UI and API testing.
- Carry out web UI automation using tools such as Playwright.
- Create and run automated API test suites.
- Review requirements and determine which test cases are best suited for automation.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade automation scripts to improve stability and scale.
- Work alongside product, development, and QA stakeholders.
- Contribute to test planning, effort estimation, and automation strategy.
- Hook automation checks into CI/CD pipelines and execute them as part of delivery workflows.
- Log, monitor, and verify defects through resolution.
- Follow quality standards and automation best practices.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related stream is expected.
