About the Role

Swan Global is actively recruiting four skilled AUT Camera / Laser Operators for a critical offshore pipeline project based in Qatar aboard an offshore pipeline vessel. These positions are available to candidates residing within Qatar as well as international applicants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate automated ultrasonic testing (AUT), phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT), time of flight diffraction (TOFD), or laser weld inspection equipment to examine the pipeline.
  • Set up and calibrate inspection systems and execute real-time scanning of circumferential welds on pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with Level II/III NDE examiners to address defect findings and facilitate repair and re-inspection processes when required.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

  • Certification at PCN or CSWIP Level II UT, or ASNT Level II UT - absolutely required.
  • Between three to five years of experience working with AUT, PAUT, TOFD or laser-based pipeline inspection technologies.
  • Familiarity with technologies from Rosen, GE, Olympus, or equivalent AUT systems is advantageous.
  • BOSIET and HUET certifications or readiness to obtain them prior to deployment.
  • H2S awareness certification is mandatory.
