About the Role
At Kinnect, we pride ourselves on crafting digital experiences that significantly enhance business outcomes. As an Associate Project Manager, you'll play a central role in transforming concepts into efficient digital solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA, and clients. This position is ideal for individuals who relish balancing technical knowledge with effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complete delivery lifecycle of websites, CMS, and digital transformation projects.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among internal teams, clients, and external collaborators ensuring punctual and quality delivery.
- Assist in project planning activities such as sprint structuring, release organization, and tracking milestones.
- Ensure projects adhere to timelines and budget constraints.
- Translate business objectives into clear user stories and functional criteria.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, UX/UI designers, and DevOps through all phases of the project.
- Engage in technical discussions about architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, integrations, and implementation methods.
- Identify technical dependencies, risks, and potential blockers early in the process.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
- Monitor sprint progress and facilitate prompt resolution of issues.
- Maintain documentation such as project plans, RAID logs, status updates, and delivery dashboards.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment scheduling, production rollouts, and post-launch evaluations.
- Serve as liaison between clients, business units, and technical teams, ensuring transparent communication and managing expectations.
- Uphold quality, security, and performance standards throughout project execution.
- Contribute to process enhancements, documentation improvements, and governance upgrades.
- Explore continuous efficiency improvements through automation and AI-enabled tools.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 2 to 3 years managing projects related to websites, CMS, or digital technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent discipline.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks.
- Hands-on experience collaborating with development teams on web or enterprise projects.
- Exposure to CMS implementation or migration initiatives.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently within a fast-paced agency setting.
Technical Competencies
- Comprehensive knowledge of website development lifecycle.
- Experience with CMS platforms is essential; familiarity with Sitecore CMS preferred.
- Awareness of Sitecore AI considered advantageous.
- Understanding of headless CMS architectures.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party system integrations.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Proficient with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or ProofHub.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and contemporary web technologies.
- Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and digital marketing integrations is a plus.
