Overview

This role is situated within the North America Beverage division, directly supporting the sales customer team of Pepsi Beverages Company. The primary focus is managing and analyzing trade promotion settlements by calculating, validating, and processing payments and deductions accurately. Collaboration with the dedicated Market team to review payment invoices and ensure proper deduction handling on trade promotion management (TPM) is critical. The position is accountable for precise payment calculations and flagging any discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle processing and reconciliation of payment and deduction invoices, tracking stakeholder approvals and ensuring timely completion.
  • Analyze invoices by segment and guarantee prompt closure of promotional tactics after payments, while managing trade spend within assigned accounts.
  • Communicate identified risks and opportunities to the Sales team, Control, and Finance departments.
  • Verify tactic pricing against pricing grids to detect and resolve any accrual or invoice discrepancies.
  • Monitor payment and funding progress for vendors.
  • Set clear expectations with internal teams—including sales, finance, and control—through effective verbal and written communication.
  • Deliver accurate and timely payment reports in alignment with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Drive process improvements by standardizing reporting, simplifying workflows, and leveraging automation technology.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in finance or sales roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, marketing, or finance; a master's degree is advantageous.
  • Experience within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret large datasets effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient organizational and prioritization abilities.
