Assistant Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

Role Synopsis

This position is part of the Finance vertical, centered on financial planning and analysis. The individual will be responsible for compiling and consolidating diverse financial data sets for the monthly Corporate MIS reports. The role demands analytical expertise to derive business insights supporting reported figures and conducting various ad hoc analyses and reports as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Professional qualification such as CA, ICWA, MBA, or equivalent.
• Between 1 to 4 years of experience in Finance roles.

Skills and Knowledge

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial and statistical analysis tools.
• Good grasp of financial and accounting principles.
• Basic experience working with SAP systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze both financial and non-financial data to assess past performance and forecast future trends.
• Perform variance analysis on actual figures versus plan or outlook with detailed commentary.
• Build and analyze financial models to support strategic business initiatives with data-backed insights.
• Assist in preparing the annual operating plan and periodic forecasts including revenue and cost projections.
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to gather business insights.
• Carry out ad hoc projects and deliver results within specified deadlines.
• Manage large volumes of data to extract significant analysis.
• Apply sound knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
• Understand cash flow statements and balance sheet fundamentals.
