Job description
Role Overview
Become an integral part of a community-focused, locally owned store delivering health, beauty, and convenience products while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Front Store Manager in overseeing human, physical, and financial resources to meet store goals, particularly enhancing inventory flow from storage to sales floor.
- Uphold and enforce store standards consistently to optimize customer experience, increase store traffic, and boost profitability, including managing the backroom operations.
- Collaborate with store management to schedule labor effectively using workforce management tools to maximize productivity.
- Ensure sufficient staffing levels for smooth business operation.
- Assist with recruitment and hiring efforts across departments except for Pharmacy.
- Manage wage administration aligning with company guidelines.
- Promote and embody the company's culture and core values, encouraging employee engagement and motivation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Retail management experience demonstrating strong business drive and leadership by example.
- Proven decision-making abilities to control operational expenses effectively.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills to respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
- Experience working collaboratively within management teams and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of inventory management and financial acumen.
- Commitment to uphold legal and ethical standards as outlined in the company’s Code of Conduct.

Compensation
The hourly wage range for this position is CAD 17.65 to 20.75. Final compensation is based on candidate experience, knowledge, and regional location. This represents a current vacancy. AI technologies may be utilized in screening and selecting candidates.
