About the Role
Mirabelle Senior Living in Miami, Florida, is seeking an experienced Assistant Executive Director to collaborate closely with the Executive Director in overseeing daily community operations. This luxury community offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services and values servant leadership and operational excellence.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with managing the day-to-day functioning of the community and provide guidance to department leaders
- Recruit, mentor, and retain talented team members, fostering high performance
- Work together with the sales team to enhance resident occupancy, revenue, and satisfaction levels
- Participate in managing budgets, controlling expenses, and monitoring financial outcomes
- Ensure adherence to all pertinent federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
- Enhance engagement of residents, their families, and employees
- Support initiatives related to quality assurance, safety protocols, and risk management
- Oversee building maintenance, appearance, and overall community presentation
- Promote a culture aligned with Arbor's Service Way and deliver exceptional customer service
- Develop positive relationships with residents, families, vendors, and staff
Qualifications and Experience
- At least two years of experience in managing Assisted Living operations
- Proven leadership abilities, coaching skills, and talent development expertise
- Experience in budget management and operational performance monitoring
- Familiarity with employee relations and human resources best practices
- Excellent communication capabilities and strong customer service orientation
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Willingness and ability to obtain Florida Assisted Living Administrator licensure if not currently held
- Strong passion for senior care with compassionate leadership approach
