Assessment Officer

Role Overview

We are looking to appoint ten Assessment Officers to join a fast-growing organisation supporting recruitment for major UK Government and public sector clients. This is a fully remote contract position based in the UK, offering competitive daily rates and the chance to enhance your expertise in candidate evaluation.

Key Duties

• Conduct real-time online interviews, assessments, and role-playing scenarios with candidates
• Evaluate candidates using behavioural and strengths-based criteria
• Accurately and impartially document assessment results
• Provide candidates with assistance and guidance throughout the assessment process
• Maintain a fair, consistent, and professional experience for all candidates
• Navigate multiple digital systems while demonstrating strong attention to detail

Preferred Backgrounds

• Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
• Backgrounds in HR or people services
• Familiarity with assessment centres and candidate selection
• Roles involving interviewing and staff resourcing
• Expertise in learning and development
• Contact centre leadership or operational management experience
• Knowledge of quality assurance, coaching, or staff training
• Positions with focus on performance management, interviewing, or assessment

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidates will be well-organized, detail-conscious, comfortable working with technology, and skilled at making objective, evidence-based judgements.
