Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Draftsman skilled in creating detailed architectural drawings across residential, commercial, and township developments. The candidate should be proficient with CAD tools, well-versed in architectural standards, and have prior involvement in large-scale township projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop working, municipal, and detailed drawings for various residential, commercial, and township projects.
- Collaborate with architects and design teams to assist in concept development and execution drawings.
- Ensure all drawings meet accuracy requirements, clarity standards, and comply with local building codes and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate efforts with architects, consultants, engineers, and on-site teams to maintain design integrity.
- Keep drawing records and documentation current and well-organized.
- Provide support for approval drawings required by licensing and municipal bodies.
- Engage in layout planning, generation-for-construction (GFC) drawings, and as-built drawings preparation.
- Deliver drawings promptly to facilitate seamless project progression.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or ITI certification in Draftsmanship or a related discipline.
- Between 5 to 10 years of proven experience in drafting for residential, commercial, and township sectors.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and comparable drafting software applications.
- Familiarity with local Development Control Regulations (DCR) and municipal guidelines.
- Strong precision and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
Additional Information
- Reports directly to the Head of Department.
- Work involves travel as required.
