Architect CAD & Construction Documentation Specialist - Remote Contract

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Architect CAD & Construction Documentation professional to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position involves creating precise architectural and engineering drawings that are essential for construction and manufacturing projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop detailed floor plans and elevation drawings tailored to project specifications.
• Generate comprehensive CAD drawings serving both architectural and engineering objectives.
• Prepare accurate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) annotations for manufacturing documents.
• Create and properly annotate multi-sheet electrical schematic diagrams adhering to industry standards.
• Design and review printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, ensuring manufacturability and functional efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively by exchanging information to clarify project needs and resolve technical queries.
• Deliver complete documentation packages aligned with project timelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of recent professional experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation preparation.
• Skilled with standard software tools used for 2D and 3D CAD modeling and PCB layout design.
• Demonstrated expertise in generating and understanding GD&T callouts and complex schematic drawings.
• Experience in developing multi-page electrical schematics and incorporating PCB layouts within building projects.
• Excellent detail orientation and organizational capabilities for handling large sets of technical documents.
• Strong command of English communication skills.
• Experience working remotely with multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.
