Job Description
The Administrative Operations Apprentice performs basic administrative and operational tasks of low complexity, within a limited scope, and under direct supervision or mentorship. The position prioritizes hands-on learning, exposure to administrative routines, and development of competencies in organization, communication, and teamwork. It does not involve independent technical or operational decision-making, nor autonomy over processes. The role mainly supports operational activities and fosters personal growth of the apprentice.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in basic administrative tasks within the area or project under supervision.
- Organize, archive, digitize, and accurately record both physical and electronic documents.
- Support completion of forms, update spreadsheets, and maintain databases.
- Help collect information and conduct simple research for report preparation.
- Distribute documents and correspondence and assist with basic internal controls.
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, and direct requests appropriately.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, managing agendas, and organizing internal events.
- Verify administrative documents such as invoices and bills without responsibility for final validation.
- Adhere strictly to TNC's Code of Conduct and internal procedures, ensuring compliance with institutional values, policies, legal requirements, security protocols, resource use, and accountability practices.
- Maintain the integrity, organization, and confidentiality of information, ensuring accuracy and traceability of data related to projects.
- This role focuses on routine, structured activities with low variability, requiring consistency, attention to detail, and accountability for deadlines.
Working Hours
6 hours per day, totaling 30 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Age between 14 and 24 years as per apprenticeship legislation (except persons with disabilities).
- Highly organized, responsible, and eager to learn.
- Available to meet the required apprenticeship workload and educational activities.
- Disciplined and organized to function predominantly in a remote work model, with occasional in-person meetings especially at the start or when necessary.
- Minimum education: Currently enrolled in or completed secondary education. Candidates not yet finished with high school must be regularly attending school.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in Portuguese.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Interest in administrative, environmental, or organizational topics.
