About the Role

Role Overview
In this position, you will create and run API test scenarios, verify that integrations behave as expected, and support the delivery of reliable software products. The work involves close coordination with development and cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and improve testing effectiveness over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Build detailed API test strategies, test cases, and execution plans.
- Carry out API validation using Postman, checking functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand API requirements and confirm testing coverage.
- Log, monitor, and follow up on defects, while partnering with developers to close them efficiently.
- Improve testing workflows and methods to make the process faster and more effective.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer Applications, such as B.E., B.Tech., or BCA.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in API testing.
- Strong working knowledge of Postman for API validation.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Exposure to Swagger for API documentation and testing is preferred.
- Ability to handle a fast-moving work environment and balance several priorities.
- Clear communication skills for working with teammates and stakeholders.
- Consistent record of delivering dependable testing results in previous roles.
