About the Role
The Addressable Inventory & Yield Analytics Team specializes in digital inventory management, deal approval processes, sponsorship forecasting, avails reporting, and diagnosing campaign underperformance as part of the broader Revenue & Yield Management division at The Walt Disney Company. The team primarily manages digital inventory on Hulu and collaborates extensively with inventory teams across various Disney brands. They regularly engage with Sales, Pricing & Planning, Operations, Marketing, Client Solutions, Finance, and Revenue Analytics departments.
We are looking for a Digital Inventory Analyst to strengthen our growing team. This role involves leveraging data to assess performance, analyze strategies to enhance yield, and implement best practices that support business growth across various units. The Analyst will handle inquiries, identify detailed trends to assist sales operations, and contribute to developing data structures and design perspectives. Close coordination with team members to drive system enhancement requirements is essential. Candidates who excel at problem-solving, are comfortable analyzing extensive data sets, and communicating findings across sales teams while thriving in dynamic, collaborative settings will find this position rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide detailed reporting and insights on business verticals and metrics, including assessing usage trends and inventory delivery performance.
- Oversee, monitor, and optimize the utilization of advertising inventory encompassing both video and display media.
- Project and assess sales sponsorship opportunities along with new audience targeting, packaging, and product initiatives.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to generate insights and further the Inventory Analytics team’s audience targeting and reporting automation efforts.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with teams from Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Content.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, with digital media experience considered advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel modeling; SQL querying ability is a plus.
- Experience using ad serving and management tools such as Operative One, YieldEx, and Salesforce.
- Comfort and familiarity working with large datasets and understanding digital inventory trends.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills with the ability to handle incomplete or vast data sets.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation abilities paired with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability with a mindset to challenge existing norms and think creatively.
- Adaptability to work efficiently within a fast-evolving environment.
Preferred Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience working with ad servers, such as Google Ad Manager (GAM), is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $75,500 to $101,200 annually in New York, NY, and $72,000 to $96,500 in Santa Monica, CA. The final salary offer will consider internal equity as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Additional compensation may include bonuses or long-term incentives. Employees are also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, financial, and other benefits, aligned with the position and level.
