Role Overview
We are looking for an Admissions Advisor to support and counsel prospective students throughout the admissions journey. This role involves managing the entire admissions process, including marketing programs, assessing candidate eligibility, facilitating application completion, and guiding enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with potential students primarily via phone in a high call volume environment.
- Engage prospective students through telephone, email, and online presentations to inform them about Bovard College's offerings and encourage qualified candidates to apply.
- Utilize a consultative strategy to assist students with their decision-making process.
- Deliver exceptional, student-focused service to current and potential applicants.
- Ensure application completion by proactively following up with applicants and admissions coordinators.
- Consistently meet performance objectives by maintaining targeted conversion rates throughout different admissions stages each term.
- Keep updated on program details and relevant industry information.
- Exhibit strong organizational and leadership capabilities as a dynamic team player.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combined education and experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal proficiency.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to establish rapport and forge connections with prospective students.
- Adaptability to evolving tasks and juggling multiple priorities.

Compensation
The hourly wage for this position ranges between $27.47 and $30.77. Offers will consider various factors such as job responsibilities, candidate qualifications, work experience, education or training, skills, internal equity, as well as applicable laws and organizational policies.
Additional Information
Minimum experience required is 0 to 6 months, focusing on counseling or academic advising expertise.
