About the Role
Located in County Galway, this full-time permanent position offers a salary range of €35,000 to €45,000 annually, depending on experience. The successful candidate will join a thriving organisation's finance team, undertaking diverse transactional finance tasks to ensure that financial records are accurately maintained and processes are executed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable activities including transaction processing, account reconciliation, and supporting credit control functions
- Generate and distribute invoices and account statements
- Reconcile bank accounts as well as balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and handle bank lodgements
- Complete VAT and Intrastat reporting submissions
- Oversee the petty cash system and conduct monthly reconciliations
- Assist in audit preparation and contribute to management reporting
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Key Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar role focused on financial transaction processing and precise record keeping
- Part-qualified Accountant or Credentialed Accounting Technician status
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with a professional and client-oriented attitude
- Capable of managing workload independently while collaborating effectively within a team
