About the Role
Join Jane's Finance team, led by Josh Andler, dedicated to delivering clear and dependable financial insights that empower leadership decisions aligned with Jane's mission to support helpers. The team manages the complete financial flow, including payroll and bill payments, and prepares financial statements focused on actionable, transparent data. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage deeply with the company’s operations through payroll and accounts payable.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Canadian, US, and UK payroll, handling onboarding, compensation adjustments, leaves, and terminations.
- Partner with the People team to ensure that the HRIS system remains current and payroll is processed with accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain clear and courteous communication across departments, providing support and clarity on complex payroll matters.
- Organize and document financial processes meticulously to reduce errors and encourage continuous improvements.
- Gain experience in accounts payable via the Float expense management platform to enhance understanding of financial transactions.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities in payroll and accounts payable to increase efficiency and reduce manual data entry.
