Company Overview
Novaestar Solutions operates in the Digital Distribution sector, specializing in eCommerce and quick commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy, Amazon, and Flipkart, with a nationwide presence across India. The company serves clients in the FMCG and pharmaceutical industries and is actively expanding its Operations and Accounts teams.
Job Details
This position requires working from the office in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, for 6 days a week from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting activities including transaction monitoring, bank entries, and reconciliation processes.
- Compile monthly GST and TDS computations along with summaries for statutory filing.
- Conduct reconciliations of customer and supplier ledgers to ensure accuracy.
- Track and review the aging of accounts receivable and payable.
- Assist in preparing key financial statements such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and related reports.
- Collaborate with the CFO in the completion of monthly and yearly financial closings.
- Engage with statutory and internal auditors, as well as tax advisors during audit processes.
- Maintain thorough accounting records and compliance documentation.
- Contribute to the enhancement of accounting procedures and internal control systems.
- Coordinate financially with Operations, Procurement, and Management departments.
