About the Role

FabAlley, a leading and fast-growing fashion label catering to young, style-conscious women, seeks a Merchandising Intern to assist with various apparel operational tasks. The brand focuses on in-house design and manufacturing across categories like tops, dresses, skirts, bags, and accessories, offering over 3,000 unique SKUs driven by fast fashion trends at affordable prices.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with garment vendors to manage sampling processes, coordinate production schedules, and discuss pricing details.
• Maintain an updated database of vendors and monitor their delivery timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Utilize AI-powered image generation tools to produce product visuals, including lifestyle shots and listing images.
• Assist in catalog management by preparing titles, writing descriptions, creating size charts, and adding backend keywords.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a degree related to Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, or an allied discipline.
• Skilled in MS Excel; familiarity with AI applications like ChatGPT or Canva is advantageous.
• Strong communication abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Basic knowledge of garment fits and fabric types.

Candidate Requirements

• Availability to work full-time onsite during the internship period.
• Ability to start between July 30, 2026 and September 3, 2026.
• Commitment to a 3-month internship duration.
• Possessing relevant skills and strong interest aligned with the role.

Internship Details and Benefits

• Stipend ranging from INR 5,000 to 5,001 per month.
• Certificate awarded upon completion.
• Work week consists of five days with a casual dress code.
