They are currently seeking a dependable, skilled Working Foreman with leadership qualities to become part of their expanding team.

Position Overview

The Working Foreman will primarily oversee on-site activities for construction projects, spending about 70% of the time working hands-on with carpentry tasks and 30% managing site operations, timelines, material procurement, and apprentices. This role requires bridging communication between project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safety, schedule adherence, and quality standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform expert carpentry including framing, exterior trim, installation of windows and doors, and detailed interior finish work.
• Lead daily site operations by supervising junior carpenters and apprentices while enforcing safety measures.
• Coordinate subcontractors by scheduling, directing, and monitoring their quality of work on the site.
• Handle material and blueprint tasks such as interpreting architectural plans, conducting material take-offs, and managing order tracking.
• Serve as the main on-site liaison for clients, providing professional updates and addressing inquiries.
• Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and all work complies with building codes and design specifications.

Required Qualifications

• Between 5 to 7 years of carpentry experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in residential and commercial framing, finish carpentry, and proficient use of common power tools.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural blueprints and construct accordingly.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Physical capability to lift up to 80 pounds, climb ladders, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in English, alongside basic digital literacy for reporting purposes.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay ranging from $34.00 to $42.00 or more, based on experience.
• Work schedule is full-time Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM with no required weekend work.
