Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

Join our warehouse team responsible for preparing and dispatching customer orders promptly. Key activities include order picking, packing, inventory management, and shipping, supporting express delivery services.

Work Schedule and Locations

• Part-time (minimum 12 hours/week) and full-time (30+ hours/week) fixed shift options available.
• Regular workweek runs Monday to Saturday, including 5 workdays and 2 Saturdays per month.
• Locations: DRP5 (Marie-Curie-Str. 6, Kaiserslautern), DRP9 (Industriestraße 2, Ramstein-Miesenbach), and SCN2 (Von-Miller-Str. 24, Kaiserslautern).

Compensation

• Starting hourly wage for daytime shifts is €16.69 gross from September 1st.
• Current base pay: €16.03 gross per hour during daytime shifts.
• Guaranteed wage increases after 12 months (€16.56/hour) and 24 months (€18.36/hour).
• Night shift hourly rate: €20.83 gross, including a €4.80 tax-free night bonus between 2:00–6:00 am as per night shift policy.

Job Duties

• Prepare customer orders for shipping by picking, packing, and labeling.
• Receive and stock incoming inventory.
• Load shipments onto delivery trucks.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards.
• Use smartphones and handheld devices for scanning, sorting, and order processing.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts and pallet drivers; training and certification provided at no cost.

Physical Requirements

• Lift items weighing up to 15kg safely.
• Follow visual and screen-based instructions.
• Remain on feet for walking, standing, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during shifts.
• Use equipment including carts, dollies, and hand trucks to move goods.
• Navigate stairs and work at heights up to 13 meters (on mezzanines) when required.
• Comply strictly with safety, quality, and production guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficiency in German, English, or Arabic (Arabic applies only at SCN2 location).
• Ability to understand and follow all job and safety protocols.
