Role Overview
Join DEKRA in Lübeck as a Vehicle Appraiser, specializing in damage regulation, expert reports, and traffic safety. This permanent, full-time position requires hands-on experience in automotive evaluation and no remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform expert evaluations on the condition and market value of used vehicles applying your automotive expertise.
- Use industry-standard valuation and calculation tools as well as used car management systems for accurate vehicle valuation.
- Inspect and assess existing damages, calculating repair costs thoroughly.
- Manage and oversee used car return processes independently for clients.
- Coordinate leasing returns and conduct depreciation damage assessments as part of the workflow.
Qualifications
- Qualified craftsman or master technician with completed training as automotive technician, automotive mechatronics technician, painter, or in body and vehicle construction trades.
- Several years of practical experience in vehicle assessment specialties.
- Familiarity with expert systems like DAT, Schwacke, and Audatex is advantageous.
- Proactive, service-oriented approach with strong quality awareness.
- Valid Class B driver’s license and willingness to work locally in the field.
