Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Valeter to join our OMODA/JAECOO branch located in Wallsend. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, physical work, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives working as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards by cleaning both sold and stock vehicles thoroughly.
• Use high-powered pressure washers to clean vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors utilizing advanced equipment.
• Operate polishing and buffing machines to enhance vehicle bodywork.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols when handling chemicals.
• Ensure all machinery and equipment are well-maintained, securely stored, and report any faults promptly while following manufacturer guidelines and PPE use.
• Meet assigned timeframes and production targets.
• Coordinate vehicle schedules through an online diary system.
• Keep accurate daily logs of work completed.
• Support other branch activities as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a full UK driving licence.
• Basic proficiency with computers.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-driven with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Eagerness to participate in ongoing training programs.

Previous experience in valeting is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates exhibiting enthusiasm and meeting the other criteria will receive training, including participation in Arnold Clark's Valet Academy.

Working Hours

Full-time schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with alternate Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
