Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Underground Magazine Keeper to join Westfill Pty Ltd based in Perth, Western Australia. This role requires prior experience in handling and managing underground explosives with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection and transportation of bulk explosives in underground settings.
• Safely handle and lift 20 kg ANFO bags as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and precise records of explosive usage and stock.
• Ensure strict compliance with all site safety systems and procedures.
• Oversee the safe handling, storage, and transport of explosives.
• Issue explosive stock to Development and Production Charge Crews responsibly.
• Manage and document magazine stock levels and movements meticulously.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience specifically as an underground Magazine Keeper is essential.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with full adherence to safety policies.
• Capability to work effectively in physically demanding environments.
• Possession of a current valid manual driver's license is mandatory.
• Full legal working rights in Australia are required.
• Submission of a National Police Clearance issued within the last six months.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing.
