UI/UX Developer (Junior/Senior)

Job Overview

We are seeking a UI/UX Developer to enhance the design and performance of ecommerce website pages. This role involves working collaboratively with designers, project managers, and backend developers to implement visual designs and ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend systems. The position requires writing reusable, efficient code, maintaining marketing content, guaranteeing cross-browser compatibility, and providing insights on design and technical considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize the look and functionality of ecommerce webpages including UX/UI and overall maintenance.
• Collaborate directly with designers and project managers to translate designs into working web features.
• Coordinate with backend development teams to facilitate frontend-backend integration.
• Write clean, modular, and efficient code suitable for reuse.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of marketing-related website content.
• Ensure compatibility of websites across different web browsers.
• Offer recommendations on design quality and technical challenges.
• Support additional project tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Web Design, IT, or related User Interface disciplines.
• Minimum two years experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as ContentStack and Salesforce CMS.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, XML, and browser compatibility techniques.
• Proficiency with prototyping software including Adobe Photoshop or Dreamweaver.
• Experience working with APIs during app development.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Comprehensive grasp of web standards and internet technologies.
• Experience or interest in image optimization and SEO practices is a plus.
• Keen interest or experience in the fashion sector is advantageous.
