Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer specializing in ecommerce and transactional product design. The ideal candidate will focus on checkout and payment experience enhancements across web and mobile platforms, working remotely with our client based in Redmond, WA.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise

• Develop intuitive, user-centered ecommerce and transactional interfaces
• Design and optimize checkout, payment, and transaction workflows with emphasis on conversion rates, error minimization, and overall usability
• Utilize and maintain comprehensive design systems and frameworks, with proficiency in Microsoft Fluent UI
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to ensure solution coherence and feasibility
• Incorporate accessibility standards in design, strictly adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design assets primarily using Figma; familiarity with Miro and Adobe Suite is advantageous
• Conduct user research including usability testing and A/B tests, applying data-driven insights to inform design decisions

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of professional UI/UX design experience focused on web and mobile applications
• Track record demonstrating end-to-end delivery of user-centric digital products
• Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced contexts with a collaborative mindset
• Good to have experience with enterprise-scale solutions, responsive/adaptive design, localization, and API-driven products
• A compelling portfolio showcasing comprehensive design ownership is mandatory
• Preference for candidates with expertise in Fluent UI and accessibility-driven design

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $125,000, inclusive of bonuses or variable compensation. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance, alongside paid leave entitlements such as holidays, parental leave, and sick leave as legally mandated. Specific package details depend on skills, qualifications, and experience level.
