Role Overview

The ROW Inbound (ROW IB) team is searching for a proactive Transportation Representative to efficiently oversee daily operational tasks centrally across India fulfillment centers (INFCs). The aim is to facilitate the earliest appointment scheduling for sellers and address their appointment-related concerns. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate within an innovative environment focused on operational excellence, system support, and process design across the organization, enhancing the Seller and Vendor experience within Amazon.in's customer-centric philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

The Transportation Representative acts as a vital link among various stakeholders, ensuring smooth information exchange and promptly resolving seller/vendor issues. This includes using internal tools to analyze and address concerns swiftly, making real-time decisions, and maintaining effective communication in English through emails and hotline calls. The role demands a solid understanding of inbound logistics and the capability to identify patterns from data to optimize seller experiences without delay.

Daily Activities

Handling vendor and seller requests via multiple channels such as emails, calls, and ticketing systems, the representative maintains timely responses in a dynamic, ambiguous work environment. They take ownership of the information flow, report progress, identify obstacles, and deliver solutions. Upholding high standards, they explore alternate responses leveraging earliest appointment availabilities.

About the Team

The Rest of World Inbound team is part of ROW APEX, India Operations. Its mission is to ensure a seamless inbounding process for all sellers and vendors across Amazon fulfillment centers by managing freight delivery plans, emergency operations, contingency responses, and appointment coordination.

Basic Qualifications

• Proven analytical skills with attention to detail and strong communication capabilities.
• Effective time management, goal achievement, and collaborative work with various internal and external teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience navigating internet platforms and websites.
• Graduation from a recognized university.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong comprehension and problem-resolution abilities concerning vendor/seller issues.
• Focused follow-up until issue resolution.
• Competent in conducting deep analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in process enhancement through automation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with advanced SQL for data mining and business intelligence applications.
