Job Overview

This entry-level position involves installing and retrieving traffic monitoring devices on roadways, processing traffic data, and performing related tasks to support traffic studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up traffic counting machines and tubes on roads according to instructions.
• Retrieve traffic counting equipment after data collection is complete.
• Transfer traffic data from counters to computers and generate printouts.
• Perform turning movement counts when asked.
• Assist with upkeep and maintenance of traffic monitoring devices.
