Tender Manager

Role Overview

An established executive search firm is hiring an experienced Tender Manager in Riyadh to oversee the complete tendering journey and deliver accurate, compliant, and timely bid submissions. This position calls for someone with strong commercial awareness, coordination capability, and the ability to juggle several tenders at once while working closely with teams across the business to improve the chances of winning.

What You Will Do

• Own the tender process from identifying opportunities through to submission and follow-up after the bid is sent.
• Examine tender packs, technical specifications, and commercial terms to confirm every requirement is met.
• Work with technical, commercial, finance, legal, procurement, and operations stakeholders to build strong and competitive proposals.
• Create tender plans, submission schedules, and action timelines to keep all deliverables on track.
• Draft, assess, and complete both technical and commercial bid documents.
• Check that each submission aligns with client instructions and internal quality standards.
• Communicate with clients on clarifications, missing information, and submission-related queries.
• Keep an organized record of opportunities, submissions, and final outcomes.
• Review bid performance and outcomes to spot areas for ongoing improvement.
• Assist with contract discussions and handover activities once an award is secured.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in tender management, bid management, or proposal management.
• Good working knowledge of tendering methods, commercial agreements, and procurement workflows.
• Strong planning, organization, and project coordination skills.
• Well-developed analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• Careful attention to detail and the ability to handle several deadlines simultaneously.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
• Fluency in English and native-level Arabic.
