Job description

Overview

A Dublin-based aircraft engine services company is seeking a Technical Records Lead / Manager with expertise in engine technical records, particularly with CFM56 or other similar engines, and familiarity with EASA regulations and lease processes.

Key Duties

  • Oversee and maintain technical records management systems compliant with EASA Part M Subpart G, CAMO, and AS9110 standards.
  • Ensure current OEM technical manuals are maintained, including Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Engine and Component Shop Manuals, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives.
  • Track and file updates from regulators such as FAA, EASA, IAA and OEMs regarding regulatory, advisory, and technical documentation.
  • Manage Regulatory and Technical Review Reports (RTRR) and coordinate review cycles for new technical data.
  • Conduct engine records assessments for transactions including purchase, sale, lease delivery, and return.
  • Carry out original technical records inspections and physical engine examinations, including traveling abroad when necessary.
  • Prepare and circulate Engine Assessment Reports (EAR) and Aircraft Assessment Reports (AAR).
  • Oversee Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM) reporting to monitor engine condition and performance metrics.
  • Generate monthly reports on fleet status, Life Limited Parts (LLP) status, and Lease Utilisation.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
  • Have at least three years experience managing technical records in aerospace maintenance, airlines, or leasing companies.
  • Deep knowledge of EASA Part M, JAR 145, and JAR-OPS1 regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in preparing engine records for lease transitions or deliveries is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical records management software.
  • Valid passport and willingness to undertake international travel as required.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational aptitude, and effective communication skills.
