Role Overview

The Team Leader, Operations will oversee comprehensive management of assets used in delivery and store operations. This involves asset procurement, inventory oversight, distribution coordination, and maintaining asset lifecycle integrity in last-mile delivery. The role demands a proactive leader with strong execution capabilities and ownership, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the acquisition of delivery and store assets by aligning procurement strategies with operational needs, liaising with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing.
• Forecast asset needs based on projected business growth and demand.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all assets across warehouses and stores through robust inventory control and audit procedures to reduce loss and minimize idle stock.
• Manage asset handling processes at warehouse and store levels, including storage, allocation, issuance, returns, and replacements, standardizing these practices for efficiency.
• Coordinate asset distribution from central warehouses to stores and delivery staff, optimizing logistics for maximum utilization.
• Supervise asset lifecycle management by monitoring asset use, scheduling maintenance, and overseeing repair, refurbishment, and replacement activities.
• Develop scalable asset tracking and management systems, identifying operational inefficiencies and continuously driving process improvements based on data analysis.

Candidate Profile

• 2 to 4 years experience in asset management, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated ability in managing warehouse inventories and store-level assets with a solid understanding of supply chain activities including procurement and last-mile logistics.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with inventory management software is an advantage.
