Position Overview

CHAGEE Singapore is seeking a dedicated Tea Barista to join the team at the Central Singapore Community Development Council. This role requires enthusiasm for excellent customer service and expertise in preparing tea beverages according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers and address any inquiries they may have.
• Craft beverages by strictly following standardized recipes, while accommodating customer preferences.
• Employ correct brewing methods and equipment to maintain product quality.
• Deliver attentive and courteous service, assisting patrons in choosing suitable drinks based on their tastes and dietary requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu offerings and products.
• Process orders accurately, handling both cash and electronic payments securely.
• Adhere to all operational policies and company procedures.
• Relate customer feedback to management and propose ideas for new menu selections.
• Keep the tea bar area clean and meet health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of tea and related supplies, report any inconsistencies, restock as needed, and manage stock deliveries in coordination with management.
• Complete daily administrative functions related to outlet operations efficiently.
• Demonstrate reliability, motivation, and a proactive approach, with consistent punctuality and attendance.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience as a barista or similar customer service role is advantageous.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Basic arithmetic skills for handling payments and cash operations.
• Team-oriented mindset to collaborate towards meeting outlet performance goals.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as necessary.
