Role overview

Based in Singapore, this role supports Airwallex’s expansion across Asia through hands-on recruitment delivery. You will manage end-to-end hiring across a combination of high-volume go-to-market roles and senior corporate positions. The role requires the ability to move between scaling pipelines for volume hiring and handling focused, executive-level searches. You will work closely with senior leaders, help shape hiring plans, advise on talent strategy, and use AI, data, and market intelligence to improve speed and quality without compromising standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle hiring for a diverse portfolio, covering high-volume GTM roles such as AEs, AMs, and SDRs, as well as senior corporate and leadership hires. This includes sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer handling, and onboarding support.
  • Design and execute inventive, data-led sourcing approaches using LinkedIn, market mapping, networking, direct outreach, and AI-enabled tools to build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Handle multiple priorities and a high requisition load in a fast-moving setting, ensuring pace does not come at the expense of quality, fit, or candidate experience.
  • Work directly with executives and senior managers to define role needs, shape hiring plans, assess market conditions, and provide guidance on talent strategy, interview design, and selection decisions.
  • Use AI tools, Ashby ATS, and recruiting analytics to simplify workflows, monitor metrics, surface insights, and improve consistency and efficiency across hiring processes.
  • Create a polished candidate journey through clear updates, thoughtful preparation, timely feedback, and strong closing conversations that reflect Airwallex’s standards and values.
  • Share practical know-how and support peers where needed, helping strengthen team practices, experiment with new tools and AI use cases, and maintain high recruiting standards.

Minimum qualifications

  • 7 to 12 years of end-to-end recruiting experience, with a strong record of hiring both high-volume go-to-market talent and senior corporate or leadership profiles in fast-paced settings.
  • Background in a technology or fintech company, with comfort working in ambiguous, high-growth, standards-driven environments.
  • Asia hiring experience is a strong advantage, especially across markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.
  • Ability to run searches independently from intake and sourcing strategy through offer shaping, negotiation, and closure.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders and executives as a trusted advisor, using data and insight to influence hiring decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and modern recruiting technology such as AI notetakers, sourcing agents, sequencing tools, or analytics to improve recruiting speed, quality, or consistency.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the flexibility to switch quickly between high-volume roles and specialised senior mandates across multiple countries.
