About Care on Call
Care on Call provides in-home support for individuals recovering from injury or illness, as well as services aimed at enhancing their quality of life. We seek dedicated, empathetic professionals eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we assist.
Role Overview
We have multiple support roles available encompassing various responsibilities such as:
- Managing household tasks
- Providing personal care
- Helping clients achieve personal goals
- Assisting with daily activity management
- Supporting exercise, mobility, and potentially medication administration following appropriate training
Positions are open for support workers at Levels 2, 3, and 4 of Health and Well-being, or individuals with relevant caregiving experience.
Work Schedule
Part-time casual roles are available, offering flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons, and nights. We prioritize matching clients and staff to create strong, positive connections.
Requirements
- Availability across morning, afternoon, weekends, and nights
- Strong compassion, professionalism, and commitment to supporting others in their homes
- Possession of a full or restricted New Zealand driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle
- Confidence and experience in driving
- Previous experience or qualifications in Health and Well-being are advantageous
