Job Overview

The Supply Chain & Operations Manager will oversee and optimize supply chain and operational activities throughout the UAE and Oman. The role includes leadership in demand forecasting, inventory control, inbound and outbound logistics, and warehouse management. The successful candidate will enhance efficiency, foster interdepartmental collaboration, and spearhead continuous process improvements impacting business outcomes positively.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct demand planning and forecasting activities for the UAE and Oman markets.
• Manage inventory levels, focusing on safety stock and overall inventory health.
• Implement strategies to minimize slow-moving and obsolete stock.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations effectively.
• Oversee material flow management between local stocks, regional distribution hubs, and global suppliers.
• Supervise warehouse and yard functions including receipt, storage, dispatch, returns, and equipment reconditioning.
• Lead and mentor the Warehouse/Yard Manager and operational staff.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and digitalization efforts.
• Track and evaluate key performance indicators related to inventory, logistics costs, productivity, and safety compliance.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment planning.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Commercial, and Finance departments to align operations with business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or Engineering fields.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, inventory management, logistics, or operations leadership roles.
• Proven ability in team management and driving operational improvements.
• Experience with warehouse, yard, or distribution center operations.
• Background in construction, formwork, scaffolding, industrial equipment rental, or similar industries is advantageous.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong leadership capabilities combined with commercial acumen.
• Excellent proficiency in English communication skills.
