Position Summary

The Supply Chain Director plays a senior leadership role, tasked with designing and implementing comprehensive supply chain strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, reducing expenses, and ensuring smooth functioning across procurement, logistics, inventory oversight, and distribution frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute end-to-end supply chain plans aligned with company objectives and expansion goals.
• Lead, coach, and nurture a high-performing team spanning multiple supply chain disciplines.
• Work closely with top management to predict demand, plan capacity, and promote ongoing process enhancements.
• Define and monitor performance indicators and metrics to evaluate supply chain success.
• Manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, warehouse operations, inventory supervision, and distribution management.
• Conduct supplier and logistics contract negotiations securing advantageous terms and dependable service.
• Balance inventory to maintain service quality while optimizing working capital.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, quality controls, and safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements to boost efficiency and lower operational costs.
• Lead implementation of technological advances including automation, data analytics tools, ERP, warehouse management, and supply chain planning software.
• Develop plans for risk mitigation and handle disruptions affecting production, client satisfaction, or financial outcomes.
• Keep watch on market tendencies, geopolitical landscapes, and industry shifts impacting supply chain functions.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related discipline.
• More than 6 years advancing in supply chain roles including at least 2 years in leadership capacities.
• Proven leadership of complex and multi-location supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical capabilities backed by experience in data-informed decision making.
• Expertise in negotiation, communication, and managing stakeholder relationships.

Preferred Credentials

• Master’s degree such as MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management.
• Professional certifications like CSCP or CPIM.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement techniques.
• Experience managing international supply chains and understanding global trade laws.
• Proficiency with ERP and supply chain analytical platforms.
