About the Role and Company
Convergint is seeking a collaborative and outcome-focused Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our vibrant team culture. In this role, you will oversee vendor item master records and deliver insightful reporting and analytics that support the source-to-pay processes. Your tasks will primarily involve data entry, updating information, and resolving discrepancies while ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency. This position plays a key role in supporting supply chain and sales teams and building strong, productive relationships with vendors and customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and manage item records in designated systems accurately.
- Ensure item data integrity including complete descriptions, classifications, units, vendor data, pricing, and more.
- Perform routine audits to identify and resolve errors, duplicates, and outdated records.
- Manage the full lifecycle of item records including creation, modification, and retirement.
- Provide support for item master data management including troubleshooting and assisting with system improvements.
- Engage continuously with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors, potentially negotiating pricing, discounts, credit terms, and logistics.
- Contribute to development and adoption of best practices for item master data management.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to implement process optimizations, demand planning, and ensure transparency and fairness.
- Work alongside global teams to standardize processes and unify reporting across regions.
- Deliver reports and data analytics to Supply Chain leadership to identify trends, address discrepancies, and support accurate forecasting.
- Build and maintain positive, cooperative internal and vendor relationships over time.
- Operate in compliance with all relevant provincial, state, and local laws, as well as company health and safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities to solve problems.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, adept at engaging diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Advanced knowledge of financial software related to purchase order entry, accounts payable, and inventory management.
- Strong negotiation and financial literacy skills, including understanding accounts receivable/payable and purchase/work orders.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing simultaneous projects and tasks.
- Ability to adapt flexibly to evolving priorities, workflows, team structures, environments, and technology.
- Self-motivated and deadline-oriented in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work independently with resourcefulness and persistence.
- Demonstrates initiative through proactive engagement and opportunity identification.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Business Administration or Purchasing is mandatory.
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation is highly preferred.
- At least five years of procurement experience involving elements of the supply chain.
- Five or more years of experience in negotiation and vendor management preferred.
- A minimum of five years' experience in customer service is necessary.
- Familiarity with Ivalua, Salesforce, and NetSuite platforms is highly advantageous.
- Relevant industry experience in electrical, security, building automation, or fire systems is required.
