The Supplier Manager is a key member of our Services & Operations team, tasked with fostering strong partnerships with manufacturers and key collaborators to ensure outstanding delivery to our customers. This role involves negotiating commercial terms and service agreements, facilitating change in internal operations, and collaborating closely with internal business units to align on requirements. As a representative of Ayvens and SG business ethics, the position also demands maintaining professional standards with suppliers while operating between the office and field engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate, negotiate, and implement detailed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that clearly define commercial terms and KPIs with all suppliers.
• Maintain an up-to-date supplier contact and contract database for effective management.
• Develop, manage, and strengthen supplier relationships continually.
• Plan and conduct quarterly review meetings with essential suppliers and internal stakeholders, documenting minutes and ensuring follow-through on action items.
• Gather procurement statistics to monitor purchase volumes, bonuses, and financial objectives.
• Identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency and cost savings by analyzing key areas.
• Ensure adherence to 'Know Your Supplier' (KYS) procedures and company procurement policies.
• Investigate the market to identify potential new supplier partners aligned with Ayvens’ service needs.
• Collaborate with the Network Relationship Manager on resolving supplier-related issues.
• Act as the liaison for Ayvens Global Procurement and support the execution of strategic goals and policies.
• Contribute to annual profitability forecasts and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Carry out reasonable operational duties as assigned, achieving both individual and team targets.

Knowledge & Skills Required

• Strong business insight and operational familiarity particularly in negotiation and contract finalization.
• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Capability to formulate purchasing strategies based on organizational needs.
• Experience managing supplier relationships through regular communications.
• Expertise in evaluating suppliers and analysing purchasing data.
• Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), including warranty and goodwill claim processes.
• Proven project and change management skills.

Education & Experience

• Between 3 to 5 years of experience within the motor industry.
• Minimum of 3 years in procurement roles.
• Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Experience with supplier relationship management and process implementation.
• Fluent English language skills with exemplary reporting, writing, and presentation capabilities.
• Demonstrated track record in comparable roles.
