Store Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead operations at Pachaiyappas Silks in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will proactively manage store opening and closing, oversee inventory and staff, and ensure excellent customer service alongside regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage store opening and closing procedures adhering strictly to protocols, including switching on/off lights, air conditioning, and system equipment.
• Ensure store presentation meets brand standards with effective visual merchandising, promotional communication, and maintaining optimal stock displays at counters.
• Oversee inventory activities including stock replenishment, processing stock inward and outward, and handling requisition requirements.
• Supervise store administration by monitoring HR activities such as attendance and uniforms, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and licenses.
• Lead recruitment and training initiatives to align staff behavior with company policies and encourage target achievement.
• Implement security measures to prevent losses, including surveillance systems (CCTV), anti-theft alarms and tags, and monitoring scrap sales.
• Manage cash flow by reconciling sales and cash transactions, and controlling petty cash.
• Maintain superior customer service standards by promptly addressing complaints and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Evaluate performance by reviewing subordinate reports and provide detailed performance updates to the CEO regarding store operations.

Compensation

The role offers a monthly salary ranging from 45,000 to 70,000 INR.
