Training and development

Key duties

The store manager is responsible for operating one store and ensuring it performs well financially and operationally. This includes recruiting and guiding associates, maintaining service standards, and helping the store meet its goals.

Work environment and physical demands

The role is based in a restaurant setting where kitchen areas can be hot, noisy, and fast-paced. The workspace may be tight, shelving can be high, and employees are expected to stand for long periods. The job can involve preparing hot and cold foods, using a Chinese cook knife and other kitchen tools, working accurately under pressure, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for up to four hours, and reaching across 36-inch countertops to serve guests. Strong verbal communication, adaptability, and conflict-management skills are important.

Compensation

The listed pay rate is $29.50 to $32.50 per hour. Final compensation is influenced by factors such as work location and experience. Bonus eligibility is not guaranteed and the company may modify or end bonus programs at any time.

Additional requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma, be able to work at stores within a 50-mile radius, and be available for flexible scheduling including weekends. Food safety certification (ServSafe) is required.
