About the Role
Kilkenny Design, situated on Nassau Street in Dublin 2, is seeking a Stockroom Assistant for a permanent position. This role requires total availability across the entire week including Monday to Sunday, with shifts rotated through weekdays, weekends, daytime, and evenings.
Key Responsibilities
- Transfer stock efficiently to the sales floor.
- Oversee and manage stock movements from suppliers as well as inter-store transfers.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to stock discrepancies.
- Receive and accurately document all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Process and investigate claims related to faulty goods, late deliveries, and short shipments.
- Work collaboratively with management to ensure all credit-related paperwork is properly handled and recorded.
- Maintain the stockroom in a clear, organized, and accessible condition at all times.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols.
- Ensure all stock barcodes and SKUs are accurate and system-matched.
- Apply barcoding to stock items when necessary.
