About the Position

Metroll Lismore is looking for a meticulous and organised Stock Control & Inventory Coordinator to become a vital member of their operations department. As a prominent Australian manufacturer and supplier specializing in roofing, cladding, rainwater, and steel building materials, Metroll offers a critical role focused on maintaining precise inventory levels, supporting production activities, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory quantities and ensure stock records are accurate and current.
• Organize and conduct routine and cyclical stocktaking operations.
• Investigate inconsistencies in stock data and develop corrective strategies.
• Perform inventory movement reconciliations within the ERP system.
• Collaborate with procurement to sustain proper stock levels.
• Accurately record receipt of raw materials and finished goods.
• Provide inventory-related assistance to production and warehouse teams.
• Analyze stock data and generate reports focused on inventory control.
• Identify and recommend improvements to stock accuracy and warehouse workflows.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and standards for inventory management.
• Assist with stock reconciliations during month-end and year-end periods.
• Maintain a safe, well-organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse administration, or related roles.
• Proven ability managing stocktakes and executing inventory reconciliations.
• High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy.
• Proficiency with ERP or other inventory management software.
• Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• A proactive mindset focused on ongoing improvement.
• Preferred background in manufacturing, steel, building products, or industrial settings.
