Role Overview
The Startup Program & Experience Lead is responsible for overseeing the startup customer lifecycle during onboarding and trial phases, ensuring they gain value promptly and engage deeply with Notion’s platform. Collaborating closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, this role focuses on developing scalable programs and operational frameworks to improve activation, retention, and conversion of startup clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance startup customer activation, engagement, conversion, and retention metrics regionally.
- Design and manage scalable onboarding and lifecycle initiatives tailored for startups.
- Develop educational and engagement content to accelerate customer value realization.
- Identify and resolve friction points within the startup customer journey.
- Support execution of startup-related initiatives, marketing campaigns, events, and ecosystem programs.
- Analyze program performance and operational metrics to optimize growth and annual recurring revenue.
- Contribute to building Startups 2.0 frameworks, including automated scoring to pinpoint high-potential startups and deliver personalized support.
Candidate Qualifications
- Background in program management, customer experience, customer success, growth, operations, or roles focused on startups.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
- High empathy for customers combined with a strong operational focus.
- Proven experience collaborating across Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Success divisions.
- Data-driven approach to uncover patterns and improvement areas.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Curiosity about AI with a willingness to leverage AI tools for enhanced productivity.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with startup ecosystems or working directly with startups.
- Exposure to onboarding, lifecycle, or customer engagement programs.
- Understanding of product-led growth models.
- Proven record building scalable operational processes or programs.
- Interest and enthusiasm for AI technologies, productivity solutions, and evolving work paradigms.
