Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Stakeholder Manager to join our Riyadh, Saudi Arabia team. This strategic position involves acting as the main liaison between AECOM and its various stakeholder groups to ensure clear communication, alignment of objectives, and sustained collaboration. The role requires building and maintaining effective relationships, reconciling differing interests, and advancing organizational goals through stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and map internal and external stakeholders related to organizational strategies and initiatives.
- Create tailored engagement strategies that address the unique requirements of diverse stakeholder groups.
- Act as the central point for stakeholder communication, ensuring the dissemination of timely and transparent information.
- Organize regular meetings, consultations, and feedback sessions to incorporate stakeholder input and resolve concerns.
- Analyze feedback to detect risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed stakeholder priorities within project planning and execution phases.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication regarding timelines, outputs, and possible changes.
- Develop and maintain communication plans including necessary reporting, presentations, and documentation.
- Track stakeholder engagement and satisfaction, implementing corrective measures when required.
- Mediate conflicts and disputes professionally to maintain constructive relationships.
- Provide strategic insight to senior leadership supported by stakeholder data and market intelligence.
- Ensure all interactions respect cultural norms and sensitivities specific to the Saudi Arabian context.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in stakeholder or relationship management roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for engaging broad and varied audiences.
- Proven capability in stakeholder mapping, analytical assessment, and developing engagement strategies.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving competencies with strong attention to detail.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation methods.
- Experience in project coordination and management methodologies is essential.
- Familiarity with stakeholder management software and tools.
- Good business acumen and understanding of organizational behavior.
- Strategic thinker who aligns stakeholder concerns with broader organizational objectives.
- Preferred experience includes working in Riyadh or broader Middle East regions.
- Knowledge of Saudi business customs, cultural practices, and regulatory environments preferred.
- Industry experience in construction, energy, infrastructure, or government relations is advantageous.
- Proficiency with data analysis and reporting technologies is a plus.
- Certification or formal training in project management is preferred.
