Special Operations Activities Assistant - ASOT

Job Summary

GovCIO is seeking a Special Operations Activities Coordinator to assist the SOJTF-C J3X Director by organizing and managing special operations activities across the region. This role, based in Doha, Qatar, supports operations within the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to the SOJTF-C J3X Director in coordinating special operations activities region-wide.
• Offer advice to the J3X and SOJTF-C Commander on planning and executing all special operations activities.
• Manage coordination, de-confliction, and alignment of special operations actions throughout the region.
• Collaborate closely with the intelligence community to facilitate achieving shared objectives.
• Assist in planning and coordination of special operations within the operational area.
• Under J3X supervision, compile and distribute data on special operations activities to the operations community.
• Support training led by J3X for subordinate SOAAs, focusing on database management, operational security, and tactics, techniques, and procedures relevant to special operations.
• Help accomplish campaign goals as outlined by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
• Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of special operations policies across the command.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Possess a bachelor's degree and between 8 to 12 years of relevant experience or equivalent expertise.
• Capability to acquire a GCOMS account.
• Minimum of 10 years of operational experience with expertise in Unconventional Warfare (UW), Advanced Special Operations Techniques (ASOT), and Operational Preparation of the Environment (OPE).
• Background in U.S. Special Operations: enlisted personnel at E7 rank or above, warrant officers CW2 or above, or commissioned officers at O3 rank or higher.
• Preferred qualifications include a CMF 18 series or similar background and completion of the ASOT Managers Course.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, based onsite in Doha, Qatar. Salary ranges from USD 120,000 to USD 134,000 annually.
