Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Snowflake's technology and vision to both technical teams and executive leadership at prospect and client organizations.
- Engage hands-on with clients throughout the sales process—from demos and proofs of concept to design and implementation phases—to illustrate Snowflake's value.
- Develop technical advocates within accounts to secure deals and establish technical victories.
- Stay informed and confidently present upcoming Snowflake features and roadmap to clients and prospects.
- Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, competitor and complementary technologies to effectively position Snowflake.
- Collaborate with fellow solution engineers to share insights and continually enhance effectiveness.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to refine products and marketing strategies.
- Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events.
- Work alongside ecosystem and implementation partners on joint architectures and account strategies to ensure customer success.
Qualifications
- Proven solution engineering or architecture experience in a SaaS environment or analogous industries like analytics, data science, or data engineering.
- Exceptional presentation skills tailored to both technical and executive audiences, capable of spontaneous or structured delivery.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with data architecture, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency with SQL and Python programming languages.
- Demonstrated ability to solve client-specific business challenges using Snowflake's solutions.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills, both oral and written, to articulate company vision effectively across various audiences.
Preferred Expertise (Not Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with Python programming.
- Familiarity with contemporary data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containerization, DevOps tools, orchestration frameworks, and version control systems like Git.
- Background or interest in AI, data science, and machine learning technologies.
Additional Information
This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and follows a hybrid working model.
Standard workweek runs Sunday through Thursday, totaling 40 hours (8 hours daily).
