Job Responsibilities
- Engage actively in Agile software development and testing cycles, supporting sprint activities and meeting quality targets.
- Study and interpret both business and system requirements to create detailed test specifications covering Functional, System Integration, Performance, and Compliance testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain test scenarios, cases, and data for manual and automated testing efforts.
- Build and upkeep UI automation frameworks, particularly using FlaUI for Windows desktop applications and SpecFlow for behavior-driven development testing.
- Carry out manual and automated test executions, analyze traceability, and ensure comprehensive coverage of user stories and requirements.
- Manage all aspects of test planning, progress monitoring, defect tracking, and reporting for assigned projects.
- Evaluate test outcomes, aggregate testing metrics, and provide insights to enhance future testing cycles.
- Ensure adherence to established internal standards, methodologies, and quality benchmarks throughout all testing activities.
- Work closely with test engineers, developers, SMEs, and key stakeholders to produce high-quality testing results.
- Promote continuous improvements in test processes, automation scope, and testing tools and techniques.
- Contribute to enhancements of automation frameworks and integration with CI/CD pipelines for improved test efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong understanding of Agile Software Development Lifecycle and testing practices within Agile frameworks.
- Prior experience testing desktop and/or mobile applications is highly regarded.
- Solid grasp of software development and testing fundamentals.
- Proficiency with automation and performance testing tools such as FlaUI (preferred for Windows UI automation), SpecFlow (BDD), Azure DevOps Server (formerly TFS), Selenium (or similar web automation tools), Appium (or equivalent for mobile automation).
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems like TFS, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Experience with test case management software such as MTM or Azure Test Plans.
- Strong programming skills in C# are highly preferred; experience in JavaScript is a plus.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating ownership and accountability.
- A passionate tester with a curious, analytical mindset.
- Attention to detail with excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
