Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive surgical treatment to patients under consultant supervision.
• Evaluate patients pre- and post-operatively and manage perioperative care effectively.
• Attend to emergency surgical cases promptly and competently.
• Assist in and independently perform surgeries according to qualification and expertise.
• Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff and students.
• Engage actively in academic research and scholarly activities within the department.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Possess an MBBS degree along with an MS or DNB qualification in General Surgery, complying with relevant regulatory standards.
• Hold a valid registration with the corresponding Medical Council.
• Prior experience handling general surgery patients is an advantage.
